#IWG12

The 2012 International Week of the Gifted is the first of three interconnected events. It will be followed by the Stories and Story Sharing project, leading into the International Year of Giftedness and Creativity in 2013.

During #IWG12, the International Week of the Gifted, the main focus is the blog tour. We are looking for blog posts in a positive and collegial tone which set the scene for the International Year of Giftedness and Creativity next year. You may be sharing a successful project which others could find out more about before next year, in order to try something similar in their own parts of the world. You may be sharing gifted children’s ideas on how we should celebrate giftedness and creativity in 2013. You may be looking at your own goals in gifted education or advocacy, and sharing what you hope to achieve during 2013.

The content of most #IWG12 blog posts is likely to be directed towards the gifted education and advocacy community. This will facilitate an exchange of ideas that can help make our community and our practices stronger.
